Eternity in Death [J.D. Robb]
This one I did remember a little bit as I read it. Eve's reaction to the whole vampire idea was extremely amusing, as was her reaction to Peabody's belief in the same. It was a little odd that Eve knew so soon who the killer was, but it almost had to work out that way since this is a novella and not a full length novel.
