Darker than I expected. This story is only partly about Alice and Hatter, but focuses more on their daughter, Chrysa, who was moon cursed the day she was born. That part of the story has a very Sleeping Beauty feel, the fairies lined up to give her a gift and Danika being the only one who hadn't given hers when tragedy strikes. Now Chrysa's fate rests on her own free will when she turns eighteen. The story ends on her eighteenth birthday, but her book is next so that makes sense.
