Burning Dawn [Gena Showalter]
I expected Thane to have a more negative reaction to Elin being half Phoenix. It was bad enough, really, but I expected a reaction that would have her out of the club for months, when it was only a night or so. He accused her of using potion the same way Kendra did, to enslave him. I can't blame her for not telling him, given what he did to the Phoenixes he captured from the camp he'd been kept in. I was really glad that Thane figured out he was being a idiot as quickly as he did, since I hate misunderstanding in a relationship.
It's been a while since I've read a Angels of Darkness or Lords of the Underworld book (there're related, clearly), so I don't remember everything that's happened. I remember the people fine, but I can't remember what's happened to Torin and Cameo. Torin's book is up next in the Lords series (due out November 25th 2014) so I guess I'll find out soon. Cameo and the spear is starting to seem familiar the more I think about it, but I can't quite remember.
The fight with the prince was a little anticlimactic. I expected them to have to hunt him down but it doesn't really matter as long as he's been taken care of (please don't let this be a case of villain taken care of-oh, wait, no their back I hate that!).
