The Curious Case of the Werewolf That Wasn't, the Mummy That Was, and the Cat in the Jar (The Parasol Protectorate Book 6) - Gail Carriger

[Possible Spoilers]

I feel disconnected from this series, since it's been several years since I read the five books in this series.  I assumed that the series was complete at that point.  The case that Alessandro was on was an interesting one, although the cat in the jar really had nothing to do with it aside from explaining why he and his valet were in Egypt to begin with. I can't say I cared that much about Alessandro, if Alexia had also been involved I would have cared more.  Alessandro is dead by the time the first book starts, so I have little connection to him as a character.
