I ended up really liking that they already knew each other before the modern day. I tend to really hate second chance romance, but that's not what this is. They met in a bar nine years ago, kissed and almost went on a date together (he never showed, but he had a really good reason).
I really loved the relationship between Kyle and Rylann, but I would have been a lot happier without the whole not sure I want everyone to know because you are the Twitter Terrorist (really, it was Twitter people! Terrorist is a little harsh). Rylann decides his worth the possible fall out really fast after the argument, but still.
