Cassandra Reads

I started reading this series last year and quit it because I got sick of the whole every guy Glory meets wants her thing. This year, I'm giving several series a second chance (two I quit because the books are so long) and this is the first series I'm re-trying for this year.

In some ways this book explains the one thing I really hated about this series (see above: the whole every guy wants her thing) and then the author seems to change her mind and although Glory is a siren, she doesn't have her song so the guys just really want her and aren't enthralled. I really liked the idea of Glory not being human before she was turned into a vampire. I was also really hoping that Jerry would stay gone this time but she's going after him in the next book! Yeah, I hate Jerry and him running back to Scotland after finding out Glory was a siren just made me hate him more.

I think this book ended up jumping around a little too much: Alesa being pregnant, Lucky coming back to town, Glory was a Siren and the relationship drama. Most of the book was about the Siren part but it seems like there were too many things going on in this book.
