Darkness Splintered [Keri Arthur]
Although I read Darkness Unmasked less than six months ago, the start of this book left me a little confused. I quickly caught back up, although I still don't remember what happened at the end of that book, although I know since the start of this one makes a big issue about it all (it is a big issue, so that's understandable).
I was really glad that Risa called Azriel back instead of trying to do everything herself. I was a little worried that she was going to be subborn about it (not that I could have really blamed her if she had been) but it was almost funny that Jak was the one to make her see that it wasn't as bad as she'd thought it was.
I am getting a little sick of the whole do what I say or I'll kill . . . (fill in the blank). It's meant to be motivation but I think the only thing it really does is piss Risa off and make it harder for her to focus.
I'm still stuck on the next book, Darkness Falls, being the last book in this series!
