One of the few things I didn't like about this book was the letters, some of them were nice, but I just didn't like them for some reason. the one's from Bernie at least, the one's from Anne I liked. I think it might have been because I didn't know him at all. I just know him as Freddy's older brother, but he didn't matter to me otherwise.

I loved Anne's attitude at the start of the book. That men didn't seem to think that women ever got lonely without them. Very open minded for the times, but then the whole series is very open minded for the times. :)

I was really glad that Leah and Anne are friends, since I had wondered if anyone in the series knew her before she married Valentine.

I also found it amusing that Freddy was trying to get Anne and Brett together while Brett was trying to get Anne and Freddy together, if they had all known that, they would have known that they would all end up together. That would have been the best way to make that work, at least.

Poor Freddy, being told by his mother that Anne was his sister. I think I believed it for about half a second, but then I decided that that wasn't possible. And I was right. Haha.

I had expected Jerome to be Anne's brother. I just expected it to be through her mom and not their dad. Proof that I don't know everything, which is good because what would be the point in reading if I did?
