Crimson & Steam [Liz Maverick]
I think this one is now my favorite book in this series. There is more action and less sex in this book than in the others. The flashbacks confused me for a little while, before the reason became clear. I realized what caused the Blood-Taint before it was stated in the book, but there was a point were it was quite plain.
