Dead in the Family [Charlaine Harris]
I loved having Claude in this book. I still miss Claudine though. I wasn't expecting the reason that he was staying with Sookie, though. Every single time that someone told Sookie to be careful, I was thinking, no Claude wouldn't do anything to really hurt Sookie. Haha and I was right. I really liked Claude a lot better in this book, and it still makes me laugh about him seeing Sookie naked and how she freaked out about it. I really didn't need to know that he's played both sides of the fence, though. Bad thoughts!
I still can't beieve that Sookie thought Claudine would only leave her a few $100. Her reaction was too funny.
I really felt sorry for Alexei, but it couldn't really be helped in the end. I wasn't expecting Eric's maker to die, but I can't really say that I'd miss him.
The very end was kind of sappy, something that I hadn't really expected, really even if it didn't really surprise me. It was one of the parts of the book, like Claude seeing Sookie naked, that remind me of the Antia Blake series. Mostly becasue it shows the differences between 'normal' humans and the Supes.
I really wasn't expecting the other fairy to be the would-be-father of Claudine's baby. And that's all I really have to say
