Indulgence in Death [J.D. Robb]
That was a large number of murders for them to not get caught, and quite a few in a short span of time. If they hadn't killed in New York, they might not have gotten caught at all.
I'm kind of sad that there was nothing about the cook-out in this book, ever since Eve suggested it, I wanted to read it. Oh well
EDIT: the cookout is in Possession in Death (In Death, #31.5), although it gets cut short by death (as all of their parties do)
