I even took book notes for this one! I'm not saying they are useful book notes, but I took them anyway! I'm sadly proud of myself

I thought it odd that Alexia loves pesto so much, but I understand why after getting to the end of the book. Payback!! Good idea really. Ivy's note that Italy is full of Italians was quite helpful, since I never would have noticed myself.

At least Lord Maccon figured out that he was being an idiot before Alexia got home. I think she forgave him too easily, even with that retraction letter he published in the paper. he was horrible to her at the end of the last book. He didn't grovel enough for even partial forgiveness

I hate to complain about a name, but Ormond, really? I will still have to call in Tunsell in my head, since his first name makes me laugh every time I see it now.

I love that Lord Akeldoma is the new potentate. I hope that he and Biffy can work out their differences, being werewolf and vampire now.

I don't blame Channing for eating that annoying little dog. Really. I wish he'd done something to that annoying German who owned said dog as well. "Female specimen" really!

I think I like the way I do reviews without notes, better. Less confusing that way :)
