I'm really starting to think that I read too fast or too much or something. this whole series in 2 days, 6 books and about that many short stories.
I was expecting Donovan to be Callie's SO. really. I'm glad the Donovan issue seems dealt with now. He really expected her to take his hand, after all that he's done and said to her. She should have hit him then, but she ended up doing so anyway. Can't really blame her, since he did kiss her without her permission, while he's engaged and she has a boyfriend. Moron.
I wasn't sure how she was going to live though the vampire bite. It's sad that this is book 6 and vampires in this world are only just being explained. Not really a big deal, but a little odd. It's not like Deke's the first vampire in the series or anything.
