Blood Rights [Kristen Painter]

Blood Rights - Kristen Painter

Painter's writing style seems very odd to me. The chapters often seemed short and choppy. I don't think they really were, but they seemed that way. I think part of it is that there was more than just 2 point of views, as is common with PNR (which this book isn't, but I read more often than not). I felt a little lost at first, words I didn't know were quite common. I'm not sure all the words are completely explained, but I understood well enough after a few chapters.

In a way, I think I'd be happier if this was a single novel. It's not. While I liked the story and the char well enough, nothing really makes me want to read the other books. That might be because I have now been up almost 24 hours. That means I probably should not be writing a review right now, but oh well.

I will read the other books in this series. I'm torn between starting the next one now and reading something else. I should go to bed, but I'm trying to fix my sleeping schedule, so going to sleep at noon would be a really bad idea. This is what I get for being a night owl.
