Winter Moon: It was odd to not read about the Tradition in one of these stories. I'm not even sure if this story is based on a fairy tale (since I often don't know the fairy tale these stories are based on). I knew she was going to end up with the fool, I thought about it when she first met him, but I was sure after he told her that she could marry anyone with or without her father's permission.
