The Iron Duke [Meljean Brook]
This is like the Parasol Protectorate series only in that they are both steampunk. This one has a darker edge to it. Not that Parasol Protectorate is all light a fluffy, but still. i really like both Mina and Trahaearn (whose name I will NEVER spell again-he's the Iron Duke, that's easier) (when I typed this, that was all she called him, his first name is Rhys.
I really enjoyed this one. I wonder, though, why are all men so STUPID? He dumped her, telling her he didn't need her anymore and then waited 3 months for her to come back to him. Even if she hadn't loved him, that had to have hurt!
I was expecting Scardale's secret to be what it was. No shock, really. Even if he was feeling up Yasmeen (kind of).
