Burning Up [Angela Knight, Nalini Singh, Virginia Kantra, Meljean Brook]

Burning Up (Berkley Sensation) - 'Meljean Brook', 'Virginia Kantra', 'Angela Knight', Nalini Singh

Only read "Here There Be Monsters" by Meljean Brook. I might go back later and read Angela Knight's story, "Blood and Roses", but I'm focused on The Iron Seas series for now.

I wasn't too sure about Mad Machen. He made a deal for a woman's virginity for passage. It was her's to offer, and he did plan on courting her. It still bothered me, mostly (I think) b/c he didn't tell her that he wanted to court her, or that he even wanted her beyond sex. But then, she never told him why she was so scared of it, not b/c she wanted him or that she thought he'd rape her but b/c sex= pregnancy.

I LOVED the ending, though. Saved his rep and she got to stay with him in the end. Good job, Ivy
