The end of this book is very open ended, which isn't really a bad thing but annoying all the same! I expected this book have more about Jax being an ambassador, but all the drama in this book was getting her there.
The bad guy wasn't who I was expecting until they walked into the room. I can't say I was really that surprised, but I wasn't expecting it.
I really like Jael, but I was expecting him to die in this book. Glad he didn't but I really expected him to only last half the book at the most and then die.
