Mockingjay [Suzanne Collins]
I don't really have anything to say about this one. I think Katniss got better too fast at the end of the book. I don't really know what else could have been said about it, but it seemed too sudden.
I was expecting people to die in this one. I even knew some of the one's who were going to die before they did. That's what happens when you end up on the HG wiki for some random reason! I think I liked the first two books better, since I knew that only one of them would live, but the people at home were safe. This book wasn't like that. Most of the people I liked are either dead by the end of the book or gone in another way.

The epilogue being 20 years after the fact was odd. No mention of Gale after Katniss learned he got a job in district 2. (I think that was a way to make her chose, since she couldn't really go to district 2 at that point. Peeta won by default - and isn't that a horrible thing to say.) She lost everyone she cared about in one way or another - death or they don't live in district 12 where she has to stay. Peeta and Haymitch are really all she has left at the end of the book. I'm not saying that I really think that's why she chose Peeta, but it was a good way to make sure she almost had to chose him, if given the choice between Gale and Peeta.
