I know this is fiction, but I really can't see this as really happening. It wouldn't really be an issue now, since no one really cares who's alone with who now, but still. Running off to stay with him was a foolish thing to do. I know why she did it, but I would have been a lot more understanding of it if she's sent him a letter saying she was going to visit.
Aside from that, I loved both Eloise and Phillip. I think they are my favorite couple in this whole series (and given how much I loved Kate and Anthony together, that's saying something!)
