Emma [Jane Austen]
I'm not going to say I hated this one, but it has to be my least favorite Jane Austen book so far (I've read Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion, Mansfield Park & Northanger Abbey). This was really the first one I've read by her, but I read it in high school and completely hated it! I am glad that I gave it a second chance, since I liked it a lot more the second time around.
Emma came across as very spoiled and a complete snob for the vast majority of the book. If I hadn't skimmed the cliffnotes, Emma being in love with Knightly would have completely dumbfounded me.
