Devil to Pay [Jeaniene Frost]
This is just a little short story set in the Night Huntress Universe, although Bones and Cat only make a brief appearance. We learn a little more about Mencheres and some about the history of vampires (Cain as the first vampire, punishment for killing Abel, not completely unheard of in paranormal fiction). The main focus, however is on Elise, one of Mencheres' vampire children and Blake, a man who is demon possessed and wants to die.
It was nice to see other things, besides vampires, in the NH world.
