Review: Saint Odd by Dean Koontz
This one was a bit of a let down. I've been looking forward to it for so long that I think I hyped it up too much and it had no hope of living up to what I was hoping/expecting from this final Odd Thomas book. I didn't hate it, but it was strange knowing this was the final book and Odd was going to die. We've "known" for a while that Odd was going to die at some point, ever since Stormy died in the first book. Odd's been ready to die since then and it would have been cruel to make him wait for old age to kill him. Maybe that isn't fair, but I think knowing he was going to die ruined this book for me. I had trouble really getting into the book, since the end would be his death (that didn't work out quite as I expected it to, but I'll leave you to learn why on your own).
