Review: Beyond the Gathering Storm by Janette Oke
This review is/might be for both of the final books, since I read them back to back and I'm having trouble separating the two.
I felt a little cheated learning that the last two books in this series focus on Elizabeth and Wynn's children instead of them. We do see Elizabeth and Wynn a little bit, but it's not the same as having the whole book in Elizabeth's POV. I found that I missed the wilds of the north. I didn't feel a big connection to either Henry or Christine. We have at least met Henry before (he appears as one of Elizabeth's students in When Hope Springs New.
