Review: Just Over the Mountain by Robyn Carr

Just Over the Mountain - Robyn Carr

I liked this one more than the first one.  I was hoping for a little of Jim's POV since we don't really know what he's doing, but the real focus of this series is Grace Valley so I understand why we don't get his POV (he does get some POV time in the final book). I read these back to back to back yesterday, so my reviews are going to be short ones.

To me, these read a little more like a long serial novel than a series of three books.  Maybe that's just due to the way I read them (back to back to back) and that it was a series collection ebook that I got from the library.  As I said in my review of the first book, I expected these books to be more like her Virgin River series with each book being a different couple getting together + all the drama a small town can bring.  These three books; however, focus on June and Jim + all the drama within a small town.  This isn't a bad thing, but that also has something to do with why it seems more like a serial novel then a series of three books.
