Save the Date [Susan Hatler]
Like the other books in this series, this one is a cute fast read. Kristen is a marriage and family counselor whose personal life has lead her to question everything she thought she knew. She'd never seen Jake as the kind of man to cheat, but she finds out otherwise when she sees Jake and his wife at the theater one night. Shes not all that broken up about Jake being a cheater, but she is messed up over the idea that she was wrong about him - and for someone who evaluates people for a living, that's devastating.
I think this book focused a little too much on Kristen being wrong about Jake and how she can't move past it, but it was still a lighthearted read.
Kristen is friends with Ellen, Rachel and Gina (she's Gina's roommate, actually). I'd wondered if all of the women were going to be connected in some way, since the first 3 worked together. I'm not sure if that's going to stay true for the others, but I'm going to assume so.
There wasn't really a lot of romance in this one, since Kristen was trying to just be friends with Ethan since she didn't want to get hurt again. She also kind of messes with Rachel and Noah's relationship, but that gets fixed - it was a misunderstanding that could have been avoided if Kristen hadn't been so jaded about Jake being a cheater.
