Cassandra Reads

This series is getting more and more confusing!  According to Goodreads, this book is Hellchaser #6, Dark-Hunter #14, The Dark-Hunterverse #29, Lords of Avalon #3 & Were-Hunter #8.  Just thinking about all that gives me a headache!  I understand all of them but Were-Hunter, since Cadegan isn't a were hunter as far as I can tell.  There is a were-hunter in this book (Fury), but he's not really a major player.  Maybe I missed something?  I didn't understand Lords of Avalon until I read the series summary on Goodreads (King Arthur and what happened to Camelot after he died).  I haven't read those, but I'm thinking I should since the next Dark Hunter book is also part of that series.

I felt a little disconnected from this book, since it's been a while since there's been a Hellchaser book and I've not read any of the other Lords of Avalon books. I did like Cadegan and Jo, but the world was a little confusing.  The only other things I can think to say are spoilers of some sort, so I'll just leave it with I liked the book but I hate being confused!
