Promises in Death [J.D. Robb]

We already know the victim in this book. Not very well, but she is known to us, the readers and Eve. That made this case harder then many of the others. Not only does Eve have to tell next of kin someone they love is dead, but she has to tell Morris that the woman he loved had been murdered. There was something about the whole thing that was completely heart breaking.
Eve has a guess that turns out to be wrong in this one, but that was the plan - to frame someone for the murder but Eve is too smart to really fall for it.
